Nairobi National Park Safari
We are pleased to offer an optional half-day safari experience to Nairobi National Park on Wednesday morning, 28 October 2026. Located just 10 km from Nairobi’s Central Business District, the park offers a rare opportunity to encounter wildlife so close to the city. This field excursion provides a unique and memorable way to experience Kenya’s rich biodiversity alongside fellow ISBCA participants.
Advance booking is required during the registration process, as places are limited.
The excursion begins with an early morning pickup from hotels in Westlands, guided by experienced local safari professionals in private 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers equipped with pop-up roofs for optimal wildlife viewing. Each group will be accompanied by a professional English-speaking driver-guide and will follow a carefully planned route through the most active wildlife areas of the park.
Indicative schedule:
- 06:00 – Pickup from Westlands hotels
- Arrival & briefing – Introduction to park guidelines and wildlife highlights; entry permits will be pre-arranged to ensure a smooth arrival
- 07:00–10:30 – Guided game drive through Nairobi National Park, with opportunities to see a wide range of wildlife, including lion, rhino, buffalo, giraffe, antelope, zebra, hippo and crocodile and other species
- 11:30 – Return at hotels in Westlands
Early morning is one of the best times for wildlife viewing, offering excellent conditions for both observation and photography.
The all-inclusive cost of the excursion, covering transport, park entry, and guided safari, is USD 115 for Non-Residents, USD 75 for Africans and USD 45 for Kenyans and East Africans.
